Cancer is the number one cause of death by disease for children. On October 1, 2016 the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation launched a year-long campaign to raise an incremental $1 million to fund the most promising research in the fight against childhood cancer.
IN ONE HOUR, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
$114.16 = 1 hour of research
$2,739.73 = 1 day of research
$19,230.77 = 1 week of research
$1 million = 1 year of research
8,760 hours in 1 year = $1 million
Childhood cancer research employs a truly collaborative approach. For kids with cancer – no matter how rare – this means the best data on their disease and treatment protocols is shared and accessible to doctors across more than 260 pediatric cancer programs through the Children’s Oncology Group (COG).
