The children’s hospital was created with a hospital-within-a-hospital concept in mind, focusing on ensuring that supporting services and a growing number of physician specialists will continuously be on hand. The hospital houses a variety of specialty clinics and includes a one-of-a-kind Pediatric Pavilion with nine sub-specialties within their physical space, and access to eight additional sub-specialties. These sub-specialists provide a continuum of care, coordinating if necessary multiple appointments for the benefit of the patient and their family.
