The Promise Circle is a dedicated volunteer group of women who work to maximize outcomes for patient support programs funded or administered by the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation. We work on behalf of the foundation as advocates for children with cancer and their families. Our efforts are driven to meet two key goals: 1. To provide funding (goal of $200,000 by 2013) for critical patient support programs serving children with cancer 2011 was our first full year as an organization and we achieved several milestones. The Promise Circle established the executive leadership team, launched our social media presence, successfully piloted our first “friends asking friends” program, determined our two year business plan and created a solid foundation for us to build upon. Now, in order to serve as many children as possible, we are welcoming new members that share the same passion we do - to make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer. Annual dues of $1100 per member are matched by the foundation and then pooled to ensure that the Promise Circle can have significant impact well beyond what any one member could do alone. Furthermore, each member votes on programs to fund – ensuring that they have a direct impact on how their contribution will be used. The results are remarkable! In the first year, the Promise Circle granted $65,000 to worthy programs throughout the United States. We hope you will join us. To find out more about becoming a member or how you can help, please contact membership@thepromisecircle.com All the best, Melissa Rosato President, Promise Circle For additional questions, please contact membership@promisecircle.com or you can view our brochure here. *$100 of each member’s contribution will be used to support the operational expenses of the program, including the annual meeting.
