Committees

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee will be responsible for the recruitment of new members as well as programming and planning for membership meetings. Committee members will develop and execute recruitment tools in conjunction with members of the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation staff. In addition, committee members will assist with the planning of the mid-year and annual meeting in terms of agenda and programming.

Grant Committee

The Grant Committee will be responsible for initially establishing the grant process, soliciting grant applications and summarizing grant applications for the general membership vote. Committee members will work in conjunction with members of the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation staff to ensure that potential grant recipients meet all requirements of the foundation.

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee will be responsible for planning any events or activities that generate income not related to membership dues. Committee members will work in conjunction with members of the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation staff to budget, plan and execute the event/activity. Wherever possible, the fundraising committee should engage the general membership in the event/activity.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for planning and executing strategies and tactics to promote activities of the Promise Circle. The committee will create collateral materials, social media and website content for inclusion on the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation page, and other forms of communication to support and to create public awareness of the Promise Circle’s efforts. Additionally, the Communications Committee will be responsible for a monthly newsletter designed to keep all members informed and engaged.
