History

Highlights of the last ten years:

1999 - Founding of the Jeff Gordon Foundation dedicated to help support the physical, social and intellectual needs of children

2000 - Partnership established wtih Riley Hospital for Children

2001 - Inaugural Go-Kart and Bowling Events

2002 - Total contributions to charities reached $1 million mark

2003 - Jeff Gordon Foundation sponsors camp cabin at Victory Junction Gang Camp

2004 - Jeff Gordon advocates for the National Marrow Donor Program on Capitol HIll for the first time

2005 - Allocated grants exceed $1 million dollars for the first time.

2006 - Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital opens

2007 - Jeff Gordon Foundation recognized for ten years of support by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

2008 - Jeff Gordon recognized for granting over 200 wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation

2009 -  Mission of the organization updated to focus on pediatric cancer and the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital

            Establishment of the Jeff Gordon Pediatric Cancer Research Fund at Riley Hospital for Children

            Partnership established with CureSearch and the Children's Oncology Group

2010 -  The Foundation changed its name to the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation to incorporate the meaning of work, children. 

            Logo changed and updated to reflect our new name.

            Launched our new website, Facebook and Twitter pages. 

            "My Papa's Car" ran on track at Atlanta Motor Speedway in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

            Granted 1.45 million dollars to the most leading pediatric cancer research initiatives and the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital.
