September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Charlotte businesses are joining the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation in the race to end pediatric cancer
Jeff Gordon officially stopped driving with NASCAR’s No. 24 Chevrolet team after 24 years behind the wheel. But there’s one race he won’t stop running: the race to beat childhood cancer. More than $17 million has been raised through his Foundation so far. This September, we’re asking Charlotte businesses to join the race and help add $1 million more. All money raised will benefit children in Charlotte and in hospitals across the country.
How can you help?
Small ways local businesses are having a big impact:
• Launching “24 Days of Giving” starting September 1
• Making Sunday, Sept. 24, a giveback day
• Donating 2.4% of sales during September
• And more!
