Do good this November – help beat childhood cancer

What is #GivingTuesday?

Giving Tuesday is global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration – getting together to do good. This year, #GivingTuesday is celebrated on Nov. 27, 2018 – the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), and widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

What is #GivingTuesdayCLT?

  • Charlotte’s local response to the global Giving Tuesday movement.
  • A collaboration of Charlotte nonprofits and businesses working together for the greater good.
  • Your opportunity to support doing good while declaring your love for Charlotte!

Do good for kids like Ethen

Ethen was diagnosed at 13 months old with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma (a rare type of cancerous tumor that develops from nerve cells called neuroblasts) and has undergone rigorous treatment for more than a year at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. He endured five rounds of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries including tumor removal, stem cell transplant, weeks of radiation, and two and a half rounds of antibody therapy. He finished his treatment protocol earlier this year and may be enrolled in a two-year clinical trial to reduce his risk of relapse. We are happy to report that after turning 2 this spring, Ethen is loving being home more with Daddy and Mommy and his two older siblings Hudson and Mikayla.
