Giving Tuesday is global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration – getting together to do good. This year, #GivingTuesday is celebrated on Dec. 3 – the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), and widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Learn about the investment Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation has made at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. And because of the collaborative approach to childhood cancer research, the best data on specific disease and treatment protocols is shared and accessible to doctors across nearly 300 pediatric cancer programs, benefitting kids in hometowns everywhere.

Here are more ways to do good this season:
Ethen was diagnosed at 13 months old with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma (a rare type of cancerous tumor that develops from nerve cells called neuroblasts) and has undergone rigorous treatment for more than a year at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. He endured five rounds of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries including tumor removal, stem cell transplant, weeks of radiation, and two and a half rounds of antibody therapy. He finished his treatment protocol earlier this year and may be enrolled in a two-year clinical trial to reduce his risk of relapse. We are happy to report that after turning 2 this spring, Ethen is loving being home more with Daddy and Mommy and his two older siblings Hudson and Mikayla.
